A selected verse can expose the relevant Hebrew or Aramaic tradition, Greek Septuagint or New Testament text, Latin tradition, Syriac Peshitta, Targum, and documented editorial alignment notes. Not every witness applies to every book or verse. Spirit Nation reports those gaps instead of manufacturing a uniform set of panels.

Hebrew and Biblical Aramaic

Hebrew panels support most of the Jewish-scripture corpus, with Aramaic handled where the underlying passages use it. Dataset-backed morphology and lexicon identifiers are labeled separately from generated enrichment.

Greek Septuagint and New Testament

Greek witnesses can differ from later Hebrew arrangements in wording, numbering, and book structure. Brenton’s English Septuagint is useful for readable comparison, while Greek panels preserve the source-language layer.

Latin tradition

Latin panels provide another major historical witness. Their role is comparison and textual history, not a claim that every tradition shares identical versification.

Syriac Peshitta and Targum

Syriac and Aramaic traditions broaden the comparison where reliable, licensed data and structural mappings are available. Coverage notes explain where a source does not contain or align to the requested reference.

Confidence and review labels

Dataset-backed: morphology or identifiers imported from the named source dataset.
Rule-aligned or machine-aligned: useful computational enrichment that still requires caution.
Pending morphology: source text is present, but detailed word analysis is incomplete.
Verified by Spirit Nation: a specific record has passed the project’s review workflow; it does not imply universal scholarly agreement.
Editorial alignment note: Spirit Nation’s explanation of a structural or versification issue, never presented as ancient source text.

These labels make the system useful for research without pretending that generated analysis is hand-reviewed scholarship. Important academic, doctrinal, or pastoral conclusions should still be checked against primary editions and qualified scholarship.
