Spirit Nation Privacy Policy

Information Collected

Public readers can browse scripture without creating an account. Standard server systems may still collect request metadata such as IP address, browser user agent, requested page, referrer, and request time for security, diagnostics, abuse prevention, and operational troubleshooting.

If you create an account, Spirit Nation stores your display name, email address, password hash, timestamps, admin status if applicable, API access requests, and API key records tied to your account.

API Access Data

API access requests may include project name, project URL, intended use, estimated request volume, and notes you submit. Approved API keys are stored as hashes, not as plain text. The visible prefix may be stored so an admin can identify which key is being managed.

API usage events may store the API key record, endpoint used, request count units, IP address, user agent, and timestamp. This is used to enforce quotas, identify abuse, plan future tiers, and troubleshoot API behavior.

Contact Form

If you use the contact form, the submitted name, email address, subject, and message are sent to loganpendragonmultiverse@gmail.com for review. The site may also log whether sending succeeded or failed.

Advertising and subscriptions

Updated November 4, 2026. Free reading pages include support banners. HilltopAds Mainstream banner advertising is being connected and is currently disabled pending banner-only setup. Loading an ad may share your IP address, browser information, and page/referrer information with the ad provider and its advertising partners. Their scripts may use cookies or similar storage. Pro and paid API subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Spirit Nation stores the account association, Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, subscription status, and billing period end. Stripe handles payment card information. Active Pro members see no advertisement embeds or ad scripts when signed in.

What Spirit Nation Does Not Store

Spirit Nation does not store payment card details, identity documents or biometric data. Saved study notes and highlights are private to your account; you can export your account data through My Library. Stripe processes payments outside Spirit Nation.

Data Use

Data is used to operate the scripture reader, manage accounts, review API access requests, issue and revoke API keys, monitor usage, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and respond to contact requests.

Retention And Changes

Account, API, usage, and contact records may be retained as long as needed to operate the service, resolve abuse, preserve audit history, and plan future access tiers. Test accounts or test API requests may be removed during maintenance.
